Getting Out
When playing airsoft, the objective is to get the enemy out by proceding to pummel him or her with 6mm bb's.
When under fire, you are obviously required to engage the enemy. When hit, you must loudly call, "OUT" and be seated where you are. Weapon must be on safe and have either a small bandana over it or it must be placed on the ground next to you in a non threatening manner. Those who are out must wait for a team mate to TAG them back in. Tagging action is ONLY the physical touching of a team mate by another. Touching weapons or gear will not count. Depending on the amount of tag ins allowed in the game, you MUST be tagged in by your team mate. If you have gone through all of your tag ins, they are exhausted and you are out for the remainder of the round.
Protective Equipment
Eye protection is a MUST. Not optional in any way. The choice between shooting glasses, full face masks, and goggles will be up to the player, however one must be worn.
Sturdy shoes will be worn due to the nature of the land, fallen trees, rocks, branches, would, etc.
Long pants are also recommended. Natural environmental hazards can cause injury to bare legs, not to mention insect bites as well.
Depending on the heat level, long sleeve shirts are highly recommended for same reasons as long pants. Environmental protection and for some people, CAMMO.
Understand that some days it gets very hot and hummid during play and anyone succeptable to dehydration and overheating must bring some type of hydration.
Those with allergies to insects be aware of the hazards. This ranges between bees to chiggers to spiders to ticks. Be aware and wear the right repelants. Mostly deep wood repelant.
Not only are we here to have a great time playing the game we are incresingly growing in skill it, but the fun is enhanced when everyone is safe and taken care of.
Eyes open Saints. Safety is a MUST!!!
